Weapon (longsword), legendary (requires attunement)

A blade forged by the smith Hesaphat , told it was one of a few magical weapons imbued with pure blessings of the god. The only weapons said to give humans a chance against these beings.

This blade has sister weapons  a greataxe, spear, bow, dagger, and more that may have been lost to history or just what we have as history.

The flames of the blade ebb and flow constantly, like a river flowing down a mountain or the dust caught in the wind. The flames ignite with the emotions of the users growing during combat and fading in times of peace but constantly burning. With the brightest flame quenching the life of a soul the blades flame grow brighter, a white flame in the center of the red  grows brighter.

For each kill with a critical hit you get more features are unlocked in the blade, up to 10 kills for the final feature.

1st - the flames grow bright casting 10 ft of dim light under command of the wielder and reduces fire damage done to wielder by d4

3rd - The blade it self grows giving the blade the reach property

6th - Th flames change from an orange to a pure white flame, the damage of the fire grows to a d8

8th - The flames fortify the user, the reduce fire damage is increased to a d6

10th - The flames are pleased.......

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
