Heavy Slam. Once per long rest, you can double your damage roll. Gain one level of exhaustion when you do this. You can expend a spell slot to double this damage again, and gaining 2 more levels of exhaustion when used on the same turn. You can expend a spell slot to double your damage once at all other times, gaining one level of exhaustion. You make this decision after your attack roll, but before your damage roll.
Thundering Strike: As an action, you can slam the maul on the ground. Any creature in a 15 ft. cone must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. On a fail, the creature will become deafened for 2 rounds, and a grounded creature will take 2d6 bludgeoning damage. On a success, a grounded creature will take 1d6 bludgeoning damage.
You have advantage on Intimidation checks while wielding this weapon.
Proficiency with a Maul allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
