This magic item often takes the appearance of another sought-after item to lull adventurers into taking it with them. The true item can be detected if identify or detect magic is cast on the item by a caster whose character level is 10 or higher.
As soon as someone tries to get rid of or use the magic item it will instead reveal itself as a cloth-like material with runes all across it and bind itself to the nearest spellcaster's arm within 100 feet before tightening up and causing excruciating pain to the recipient. After the process is done after about a minute all pain caused by the magic item will cease and upon further inspection, it is as if it has bound itself and replaced the skin that once held its place. Touching it feels like cloth though it is perfectly level with your skin.
(If no spellcasters are within range the item will instead be dispelled and fall to the ground taking the appearance of a normal cloth)
Whenever the spellcaster who has been cursed by this item rolls a 1 on a hit with a spell attack the spell goes wild, roll on the sorcerer's wild magic table to see the effect.
If the cursed creature can already have its magic go wild the creature is instead able to add or subtract 1d4 from the resulting effect (Decide increase or decrease before rolling) gaining some more control of their wild powers with the "help" of the item.
The item can be removed with such spells as remove curse.
