Wondrous Item, unknown rarity

One of the legendary Zodiac Animal Talismans.

Your skin must be touching the talismans for you to be able to use them. You can only wield and gain the passive abilities of as many talismans equal to 1+ your con modifier. If you are in possession of more talismans than you can effectively bear then only the first talismans to touch your skin take effect and can be used.

Talismans are draining to use. You have as many Talisman charges equal to 1+ your con modifier. You must expend one charge to use an active ability. Increasing the amount of charges used increases the power of the ability. As long as sentient creatures are touching they may expend their charges together. All talisman charges are reset after a long rest.

The Tiger Talisman

Passive: You gain the cantrip mending, expertise in Insight and the ability to locate parts of a broken item while holding the other piece/s and focusing. When expending Talisman charges you can roll a 1d10. On a 1-9 you get a bonus charge to use. On a 0 the effect is cancelled and you experience the active ability of this Talisman

Active: You can cause a spiritual imbalance in yourself or a being your touching. In a flash of light the being is duplicated with each half having opposing alignments. All gear or equipment is also duplicated except for unique magical objects, which fall to the ground halfway between the duplicates. Increasing the charges increases the amount of duplicates. The only way to restore the being is to use this talisman on them again while the duplicates are touching. Killing one duplicate causes their body and gear that was split to turn to dust. The surviving half keeps their alignment but has their hitpoints halved and is mentally scarred forever with the feeling of being incomplete. A killed duplicate cannot be resurrected. However if both duplicates are killed, with the correct circumstances, their souls can be joined with the Tiger Talisman and they can be resurrected whole again.
