A large deep violet-to-black tome, cradled in iron lining with silver-edged paper; filled with knowledge and information about all that is or could be known about particular bloodlines. Typically created and designed to understand each family by initial pact. These books have distant relativity to one another, having basic communion capabilities when other creations are within certain proximity. Each Tome is also known to give special magical properties, depending on the Tome Bloodline - From Granting of three Wishes, to the darkest realities of discarded soul-lines. One was never the same as the other, as the creator of these magical mythical items kept very close care of his creations.

The original creator of such books, known as Erden Feilhalt, was an outer-planar Hemomatic Artificer - he specialised in the art of blood transmutation, typically using his or another's blood to infuse and create wonders of magical arts. His grandest creations were the Tomes, of which there are 18 in existence. He held onto one, using it as a main communication Tome - while grasping an understanding of each other Tome he created. By simply placing blood of a particular line, he would be able to brief the understanding of that bloodline's Tome.

Using a charge, you may ask one question of any curiosity - and the Tome will answer to the best of it's ability. Questions relating directly to the linked bloodline are 100% truthful, and an answer will always be found.
 - Any questions outside of this, have a varying chance of effect - depending how obscure the question is. If the Tome cannot give an answer, the charge used is recovered; ensuring no charges be wasted.
