A small metal device latched onto your off wrist. In the event you meet an untimely end you can press a set of symbols, which are assumed to be numbers, to set a timer for it to detonate. The radius of the explosion is around 300 city blocks, and gives radiation poisoning to anything far enough away to not be disintegrated. 

Half plate consists of shaped metal plates that cover most of the wearer's body. It does not include leg protection beyond simple greaves that are attached with leather straps.
