The spinning sword, or chattaval in Quori, is a martial slashing weapon designed by the quori and made of a segmented blade strung together by a long strand of highly flexible metal called sentira. It is designed to aid a single skilled warrior against multiple foes. This weapon has the finesse and reach properties, so you can strike opponents 10 feet away with it.
In addition, you can use your action to spin the blade over your head to make a Whirlwind Attack. Make a melee attack against any number of creatures within 5 feet of you, with a separate attack roll for each target.
Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
