While holding this shield, you have a +2 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

Seeming like a large metal Buckler, this gong-like shield activates when struck by a bludgeoning weapon or the broadside of a slashing weapon. Upon impact, the shield rings out with a thunderous sound. Targets within a 15 ft. cone must make a DC12 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 1d12 Thunder damage and is knocked back 10 ft. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed. In addition, all unsecured objects within the cone are also pushed back 10 ft.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
