You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Whenever you roll a natural 20 to attack with the Thunderstrike Glaive, you may expend up to three charges to deal an additional 1d6 additional thunder damage per charge. If you roll a natural 20 to attack with the Thunderstrike Glaive and it has no charges, it regains 1d4-1 charges at the end of the turn. Any time you spend three charges at once, roll 1d6 and consult the table below.
d6 | Spell |
---|---|
1 | You take the same amount of thunder damage that you dealt to the creature that was hit. |
2 | You take half the amount of thunder damage that was dealt to the creature you hit. |
3 | The Thunderstrike Glaive regains 1d4-1 charges. |
4 | You and the creature that was hit both take 1d6 lightning damage in addition to any other damage from the attack. |
5 | All creatures within 5 feet of the creature that was hit take 1d6 lightning damage. |
6 | The next time you hit a creature with the Thunderstrike Glaive before the end of your next turn, it takes an additional 1d6 lightning damage. |
The Thunderstrike Glaive has three charges, but does not recover them except as described above.
Proficiency with a Glaive allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
