Weapon (revolver), legendary

This revolver functions as a normal revolver, but when the user runs out of bullets they can sacrifice energy to shoot it. Lose 1HP for the first empty chamber shot then 2HP and so on, the HP loss resets upon reloading it with normal bullets. 2D8 with normal bullets and 2D10+1 when using HP to shoot. The user can “Fan The Hammer” but this costs a decrease in accuracy(-3), fires 3 bullets out of the 6 in the chamber or however many remain if you have below 3 bullets in the chamber. Hitting 20 shots within a battle allows the user to focus and quickly draw The Widowmaker and shoot all enemies for 5 DMG (7 DMG if the user is a Ranger or is a Gunslinger) this attack however has a 10% chance to hit 1 teammate or friendly NPC. This weapon reloads itself and cannot misfire, but due to its weight it’s harder to shoot. (-2 on DC rolls)

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Combat, Range, Ammunition (Firearms), Reload, Sap
