The Sundered Rift Stone, a rare artefact from the rift in the sky, appears as a clear crystal with a large crack and a white void within, always poised to absorb any nearby magic.

When a spell is cast within 20 feet, you can react to capture it. The stone then glows with the captured spell's school of magic and can store it for one minute, during which you can use an action to cast it.

Additionally, while in possession of the stone, you gain +2 to AC and advantage on all saving throws, thanks to its mysterious protective magic.
