This finely crafted lute appears to be made of polished ebony and silver, with intricate etchings of thunderbolts and clouds adorning its surface. When played, it emits a thunderous sound that can shake the very foundations of the earth.
While playing the Thunderstruck Lute, you can use an action to cast the Thunderwave spell as if you had used a 1st-level spell slot. Additionally, once per long rest, you can use an action to cast the Shatter spell as if you had used a 2nd-level spell slot. Your Charisma is your modifier for these spell saving throws and they gain +1.
The Lute has 3 charges, and it regains 1d3 charges daily at dawn. You can use an action to expend 1 or more charges to cast Thunderwave or Shatter at a higher level. For each additional charge you expend, the spell slot level increases by 1. Upcasting a spell to a level who you do not possess a spell slot for will give you exhaustion equal to the level of the slot.
You can also spend a charge to give yourself advantage on a Performance check made while playing the Thunderstruck Lute.
Notes: Bonus: Spell Save DC, A spellcaster proficient with the Lute, Buff, Combat, Bard
