This stick is covered in crackling thunderous energy, running through the wood in runic patterns that emits dim light in a 5-foot radius. On a hit, this weapon does 1d6 bludgeoning damage (or 1d8 bludgeoning damage if used in two hands), and an extra 2d6 thunder damage. The weapon then creates a thunderous sound which can be heard from 100 feet away, and shatters on contact into multiple non-magical splinters of wood.
Thunderstruck Branches can be harvested from the remains of a tree after destroying it with any lightning-based damage. The tree can produce 1d4-2 Thunderstruck branches; the type of branch is determined by the DM.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
