While wearing these bracers made from the young fast-growing scales of wyrmling, you gain a +2 bonus to AC if you are wearing only light armor and using no shield.  These young dragon scales do not have the resistance properties that an adult or older dragon would have, but do provide additional AC when blocking or parrying an attack using the forearms instead of a shield to defend.
