Created by the demon lord of hunger and imbued into a demonic fang, Yeenoghu's venom is the most potent poison in the entire multiverse.

The demonic fang containing the venom can be wielded as if it were a dagger. Hitting any creature other than an undead or construct with the fang causes the venom to flow out from it and into their soul, marking them for near-instant death.

A creature affected by the venom has their hit point maximum reduced by 50 at the start of each of their turns. If this would cause their hit point maximum to be reduced to 0, the creature dies, and their soul is instantly ripped from their body and teleported into Yeenoghu's lair in the abyss.

No ability or spell can prevent the venom from destroying its victim and sending their soul into the abyss, and no ability or spell can cause a creature's soul to return from Yeenoghu's lair. The only way to resurrect the soul of a creature killed by Yeenoghu's Venom is to bathe their body in the tears of a celestial Ki-rin. This causes the creature to return to life with all of their hit points, and their hit point maximum fully restored.
