This long boney staff with a skeletal hand grasping a dark red and black crystal. It radiates powerful necrotic powers.

Once attuned to the staff, you get +1 to all spell attacks, +3 for any necrotic spells.

Once per day you can cast the Animate Dead spell at second level for free. Any corpse raised by this retains a portion of their knowledge and abilities and are forever loyal to the caster.

It also has 2 charges of Speak with Dead, charges are regained when you either use it's Animate Dead or you slay 5 undead.
