A magical long sword with moving gears you must control to use built into the guard. Once attuned to it the player takes a intelligence saving throw at the DM's discretion on how hard it should be. Once attuned times edges has special properties depending on the time of day. It also on attack you can chose to make a intelligence check of 14 to whirl the gears and make the clocks edge strike dealing an extra 1d6 dmg and making the creatures movement zero on there next turn. But if you fail the check the gears don’t go as they should and time is not on your side you take 1d6 slashing dmg and lose all movement next turn
- 12am-5am the dead of night strikes and deals an extra 1d4 necrotic dmg
- 6am-8am the rising sun casts light and glory to your battles at the start of the day you gain 1d4 radiant dmg and heal an ally for 1d4 when you hit an enemy with it.
- 9am-12pm the middle of the days heat bears down on you heating your blade to brand your victims. When you hit an enemy you can chose to brand them with a clock symbol making it so when you hit them with times edges ability you deal 2d6 instead of 1
- 1pm to 5pm the middle of the day ends and your blade is smooth and running well you can tamper with the weapon at this hour
- 6pm-8pm evening fading into the night make you want to find what is in the dark as an action you can check your surroundings in a 120 foot area for signs of people who wish to harm you.
- 9pm-12am you cast away the shadows of the night making the dark go away your sword glows with light giving off a magical light that will cut the light any darkness 30 ft around you
Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
