Weapon (shotgun), rare (requires attunement)

This shotgun is expertly crafted with an adamantine barrel etched with magic sigils and fancy hardwood stock and grip. The sigils glow silver when aiming this weapon causing all shots to be imbued with magic to overcome resistances to non-magical weapons.

This weapon can be upgrade by a master artificer to add different effects and bonuses.

Monster Hunter. This gun was created specifically for hunting down Aberrations and Monstrosities.  Add an extra 1d12 to the damage against either types of creatures. 

Boom Stick. If you hit a creature within 5ft of you, that is medium sized or smaller, the creature must succeed on a DC12 strength saving throw of be pushed back 10ft and be knocked prone. 

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Push. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can push the creature up to 10 feet straight away from yourself if it is Large or smaller.
