This magnifying glass is made of clear crystal, and has a silver handle. It contains the memories and personality of an old, kind, and curious wizard. The wizard's voice can be heard when the glass is held up to the eye. The wizard loves mystery, puzzles, and magical items.
Sentience. The Wizard's Eye is a sentient neutral magic item with an Intelligence score of 19, a Wisdom score of 11, and a Charisma score of 10. It can speak, read, and understand Common and up to 5 other languages determined by the DM. It can communicate telepathically with its wielder, and has hearing and vision out to a range of 30 ft. It is fascinated by puzzles, mysteries, and riddles, and urges its wielder to seek the out and solve them. It dislikes mundane topics and activities, and may become impatient or sarcastic if you engage in them too often.
Wizard's Wisdom. You can cast the Identify spell through this magnifying glass as a ritual, and without using material components. The wizard's voice will guide you through the process of identifying the item. Once you cast this spell in this way, you cannot cast it in this way again until you finish a short rest.
