Weapon (longsword), rare

This weapon is a cursed bracer that once summoned it causes a flaming longsword appear in the hand. It can only be removed by a remove curse spell. 

Thoribus has the soul of an old warrior trapped inside his blade when he was slayed by a troll. Because of this his hatred is spread to the to weilder in the presence of a troll and they will need to make a wisdom saving throw DC 12. On a failure they will succumb to rage and slay any trolls in the vicinity of 120ft. On a success they have complete control of the blade.

Once summoned the blade appears in the weilders hand attached to a chain connected to the bracer. The chain is endless but will need to be realed back in before recalling the blade. The chains are scolding hot and deal 1D6 fire damage if they come into contact with someone, these flames do not affect the weilder. The blade grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage and an additional 1D6 fire damage, also a regenative creature cannot regenerate damage from this blade.

Proficiency with a Longsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
