This is a tower shield that looks like a tombstone from the graveyard. The shield grants +1 to AC and It is also imbibed with necromancy magic to ward creatures from possible death. It has one charge and that charge will be reset at dawn if expended. Everyday at dawn you can carve a number of names of willing creatures on this shield equal to your proficiency bonus by spending 1 hour per creature. When such creature hits 0 hit points and is not outright killed, it stays at 1 HP instead. Once triggered, the charge on the shield is expended erasing all names from the shield.
