The bracers are made from the ribcage bones of a long dead ancient silver dragon.  The bracers feel icy when touchd, yet are never uncomfortable for the wearer.

While wearing this bracert set you have a +2 to hit, +4 to damage with ranged weapons; additionally when firing a bow the wearer may conjure an ice arrow (+1d6) twice per long rest.

Also you may choose to launch a magical ice arrow which can't miss the target 1x per long rest by using the command phrase "I am glacial virtue."  The arrow fired can't miss for any reason.

If the bracers are worn while wielding the companion 'Xanthriel's Imperial Longbow of Virtue' then once per long rest the wielder may use the bracers to conjure a black ice arrow (ie. +3d6 piercing +2d6 fire damage ..*yes fire*).

Additionally, you can focus your senses as an action to magically discern the distance and direction to the closest silver dragon within 50 miles of you. This special action can't be used again until the next dawn.

If the wearer initiates an attack against a good aligned creature/entity then the armor reverts to a normal longbow +0 for 3 days.

Padded armor consists of quilted layers of cloth and batting.
