An unusual device that looks like a metallic sphere with a gemstone set into the top. When placed on the upon the skin and the gemstone is pressed, filaments embed themselves into the skin. Over the course of an hour, the orb is slowly absorbed into the bloodstream, leaving the gemstone set in a gold mount. Once per day, when the stone is pressed, the magical energy of the user is utilized to create a forcefield that pulses every at least once every 6 seconds over the course of one minute. Once used, the ward cannot be used in this way until the next dawn.
The ward can be used with spell slots. When used in this way, each spell level above 1st increases the spell duration by 1 minute.
Bonus Action: grants 1d8+(proficiency bonus) temporary hit points to each creature of your choice within 10 feet of the you.
While the user has temporary hit points, the user is resistant to poison damage, psychic damage, and has advantage on saving throws to resist conditions. All temporary hit points provided by this artifact are disabled once the artifact ceases function.
Notes: Bonus: Temporary Hit Points, Resistance: Poison, Resistance: Psychic, Advantage: Saving Throws, By placing the ward against the skin of an individual, the artifact will integrate itself into the bloodstream of the user over the course of an hour. Resetting the device by verbal command ends the attunement.
