Weapon (revolver), legendary (requires attunement by a Must be attuned by ruby tuesday )

This custom revolver is a unique fusion of flesh, bone, and metal, created specifically for Ruby Tuesday. The weapon is attuned to her magical essence, granting it enhanced capabilities and making it an invaluable asset in her fight against the forces of darkness.

  • Ammunition: The revolver has six chambers and can fire bullets as ammunition. It has the loading property, meaning you can fire only one piece of ammunition when you use an action, bonus action, or reaction to fire it, regardless of the number of attacks you can normally make.

  • Misfire: The revolver has a misfire score of 1. If the d20 roll for an attack with this weapon is a natural 1, it misfires, and you must use your action to clear the jam before it can be fired again.

  • Symbiotic Synergy: While attuned to this weapon, Ruby Tuesday gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this revolver. Additionally, when she scores a critical hit with this weapon, she regains hit points equal to her Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).

  • Split Shot: As an action, Ruby Tuesday can fire a shot that splits into multiple projectiles, targeting up to three creatures within range. Make a separate attack roll for each target. Each successful hit deals normal damage. This ability can only be used once per short or long rest.

  • Adaptive Reload: Your Other Half has the ability to absorb nearby organic matter to create ammunition. As a bonus action, Ruby Tuesday can touch a corpse or a pile of organic material within 5 feet of her to reload the revolver. This process consumes the organic matter and refills the weapon's chambers with ammunition. This ability can be used once per short or long rest.

 

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
