A set of five iridescent fingernails with square tips. A unique sigil is inscribed on each nail.

Witch nail attunement: To attune to this item you must press each nail over your own natural fingernails until they attach and replace your natural nails. Once all five nails are attached the item is activated. As a bonus action you can switch between your natural nails and your witch nails. If your attunement ends the nails detach and your natural nails reappear.

Sigil metamagic.The sigil on each nail can be invoked once per day with the casting of a spell to add one of the following metamagic enhancements to the spell (see PHB p. 102 for descriptions):

• Careful spell
• Distant spell
• Empowered spell
• Extended spell
• Subtle spell

Sigils disappear after the metamagic on each nail is used and reappear when the item recharges the following day.

In addition, one time per day you can cast the mage hand cantrip.
