For long magic and sorcery has plagued many civilisations bringing harm and equally as much good. However, it can be very volatile, very dangerous when not controlled properly or used in the wrong hands. This weapon took generations to construct with each fibre being imbued with the curses of those who have been felled by magic, been mistreated and have had to undergo suffering because of it. 

This weapon is versatile. It deals 1d6 + 3 cold damage on a successful hit and half as much on an unsuccessful attack roll.

If an object is hit with this weapon. It is subjected to the dispel magic spell.

If a creature is hit with this weapon, it is unable to cast spells for a duration of 1 hour.

Whilst holding this weapon, you are under the effects of the detect magic spell.

Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
