Zhonya's Hourglass is an ornate, golden timepiece with a fine chain. When you gaze into its glass, you can see sand swirling and shifting in complex patterns.

Stasis Active: As a reaction, you can activate Zhonya's Hourglass to enter a state of stasis. For the next round until the start of your next turn, you become invulnerable and untargetable but are also unable to move, attack, cast spells, or use items. This effect ends early if you choose to end it (no action required). Once used, you can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Arcane Haste: While attuned to this item, your spellcasting speed is subtly increased. When you cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Chrono Echo: Whenever you finish a short or long rest while attuned to this item, you can choose to have the hourglass memorize a spell of 3rd level or lower that you can cast. If you fall unconscious or die before you next finish a short or long rest, the hourglass automatically casts the spell, targeting yourself if possible. Once used, this feature can't be used again until you finish a long rest.
