You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Firing this weapon has a misfire chance of 5% to start. This weapon can hold up to 19 rounds at a time. Each round deals 1d2+1 piercing damage.
The wielder may opt to fire more than one round in an attack. For each extra round fired, the change the weapon backfires increases by 5%, to a maximum of 90% at 19 rounds. The wielder makes a single melee attack against a target. Before rolling to hit, they must roll a d% to determine if the weapon backfires. On a success, they roll to hit as normal. On a failure, they roll a con save DC 10 + their attack modifier, taking the weapon damage as fire damage on a , or half as much on a success. Creatures within 10 ft are effected by the misfire.
Reloading a single round is an action. Reloading the entire compliment takes 10 minutes.
Proficiency with a Musket allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
