Thornheart is an elegant longsword with a slender blade crafted from enchanted rose quartz. The hilt is wrapped in supple green leather, adorned with intricate silver filigree depicting blooming roses. This magnificent weapon possesses a dormant, mystical power that becomes awakened in the hands of a worthy wielder.
Properties:
Radiant Rose strike: Thornheart deals an additional 1d6 radiant damage on a successful hit.
Nature's Embrace: Once per short rest, the wielder can use an action to unleash the essence of nature within the sword. The blade transforms into a vibrant, glowing rose, increasing its damage to 2d6 radiant damage until the end of the wielder's next turn. Additionally, the wielder gains temporary hit points equal to the total radiant damage dealt.
Blossoming Defense: As a reaction, when the wielder is hit by a melee attack, Thornheart's magic activates, summoning an ethereal barrier of thorny vines. The wielder gains resistance against the damage from that attack and has advantage on their next attack roll against the creature that attacked them.
Perfumed Vigor: While attuned to Thornheart, the wielder gains advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed. They also have advantage on any checks related to herbalism or interacting with plants and flowers.
Everblooming: Thornheart is constantly surrounded by an aura of mystical rose petals. Whenever the wielder completes a long rest, the sword emits a soothing fragrance that rejuvenates nearby creatures. All allies within a 30-foot radius gain temporary hit points equal to half their hit point maximum, rounded down.
