Yempher is a specialty weapon that appears as a bartered short sword with what looks like minor fractures along the blade. Upon closer inspection you will see that there is a small indentation on the hilt which when depressed the blade will fall apart revealing a multitude of spines attached to a chain whip.
when in short sword form add 1d4 slashing damage. when identified you are able to use the whip function and choose to use either 1d6 piercing damage or an additional 1d4 slashing damage
Proficiency with a Shortsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
