While holding this shield, you can speak its command word as a Reaction to invoke the wrath of Deionne. The shield explodes in a flash of light rendering the Cleric invulnerable for 1 action. Furthermore, he/she may make an immediate ranged attack with disadvantage vs the opponent's AC. If the attack is successful the opponent takes the damage instead. The damage is converted to Radiant.

Command line: WRATH COMPEL ME!

A shield is made from wood or metal and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time.

 

 

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.

Notes: Damage: Radiant, Requires Cleric of Deionne, Must be assigned within the priesthood of Deionne. Each shield is unique to their owner.
