These reins are made from tanned leathery vines and imbued with necrotic energy. As an action, you can snap the reins to cast the find steed spell. This special casting of the spell has a casting time of 1 action instead of 10 minutes, and summons a steed with the undead creature type instead of the options listed in the spell’s description. Snapping the reins a second time dismisses the steed.

Once you use the reins to summon a steed, you can’t do so again for 24 hours.
