Weapon (blowgun), rare (requires attunement)

When you hit a creature with an attack using this nondescript magic weapon, if you have at least one allied creature within 30 feet of the target and the target can see that creature, the target suffers disadvantage on attack rolls against you until the end of your next turn, until it can no longer see any of your allies, or until the allied creature is frightened or incapacitated.

Curse. This weapon is cursed, a fact that is revealed only once you attune to the weapon. Doing so curses you until you are targeted by the remove curse spell or similar magic. While cursed, you have disadvantage on saving throws against being frightened, and while you are frightened, your speed increases by 10 feet and you can take no actions except to Dash away from the target of your fear.

Proficiency with a Blowgun allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
