Aquatic Affinity: When you are submerged in water or standing on a natural body of water, the Tidecaller's Spear enhances your combat prowess. You gain the following additional benefits:
- You have advantage on attack rolls made with the spear.
- The spear deals an additional 1d6 piercing damage against targets in water or affected by the watery sphere spell.
- You have a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and can breathe underwater.

Tidal Surge: The Tidecaller's Spear allows you to command the might of the seas. While attuned, you can cast the tidal wave spell once per long rest, using your Wisdom modifier as the spellcasting ability modifier.

Sea's Embrace: By channeling the spear's power, you can call upon the sea to protect and empower you. As an action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Resistance to cold damage.
- You can move across the surface of water as if it were solid ground.
- You have a swimming speed of 60 feet.
- Once per turn when you hit a creature with the spear, you can choose to knock the target prone or push it up to 10 feet away.

Aqua Blast: Once per short rest, you can unleash a concentrated blast of water from the spear. As an action, make a ranged spell attack against a target within 60 feet. On a hit, the target takes 4d10 cold damage and must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 16) or be pushed 20 feet away and knocked prone.

King of the Waves: Once per long rest, you can invoke the full power of the sea through the Tidecaller's Spear. As an action, you transform into a water elemental for 1 minute. While in this form, you gain the following benefits:
- You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
- You can move through water and other liquids as if they were harmless terrain.
- Your melee attacks with the spear deal an additional 1d8 cold damage.
- You can use a bonus action to create a 15-foot cube of swirling water centered on you. The area becomes difficult terrain, and creatures of your choice within the area must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC 16) or be restrained for 1 minute.
Proficiency with a Spear allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
