These small soft candies are popular with magic users and those who are in need of a quick boost of intelligent or intellect.

When consumed they grant the user a temporary boost of 1-3 points of Intelligence.

This boost lasts for 10 minutes after which the users intelligence returns to normal.

Additional candies can be consumed, but with each new piece the user must make a Constitution saving throw DC 10 or be struck with a major headache for 1d6 hours after the candys boost wears off.

NOTE. Once a failed saving throw is made. No additional saving throws are required. The DM and player just need to note how many additional pieces of candy were consumed after that failed roll.

example the user eats 3 candies. A saving throw is required after consuming pieces 2 and 3. the user fails the saving throw on piece 2. after the boost wears off from piece 3, the user suffers the effects of the headache. A saving throw is not necessary after consuming piece 3 as the user has already failed their saving throw.

What is now determined is what conditions the headache gives the user.

This is answered by rolling on the Headache conditions chart. If more than 3 conditions are acquired, the player has a Migraine headache and is at a disadvantage on all skill checks, ability rolls, saving throws, spell casting, and attacks.

HEADACHE CONDITIONS CHART (Roll 1d6 for each piece eaten after the failed saving throw)

  1. Blinded,
  2. Deafened
  3. Nauseous
  4. Stunned,
  5. nconscious
