Winterfury's origins are a mystery however the power it grants to the wielder who uses the bow are legendary.
This +1 magic bow has a frame as white as the tundra that the weapon is rumored to hail from. The weapon is infused with the essence of ice. When you hit with an attack roll using this magic bow, the target takes an extra 1d6 cold damage.
If you roll a critical hit with this bow while targeting a living creature not resistant or immune to cold damage, the target is Slowed (as the spell). The creature can end the effect with a DC 15 Constitution saving throw made at the end of its turn until successful.
If you load no ammunition in the weapon, it produces its own, automatically creating one piece of magic ammunition when you pull back the string. The ammunition created by the bow melts the instant after it hits or misses a target.
Attunement to this bow provides Resistance to Cold damage
