A wisp lantern is a lantern fashioned out of a astranged magical metal stopping the wisp from leaving the lantern without the user opening it. The lantern works as any normal lantern. A Will-o'-Wisp contained within the lantern. While holding the lantern, you can use an action to open it, allowing the Will-o'-Wisp to emerge. The Will-o'-Wisp acts immediately after you in the initiative order, and is bound to a 40 ft distance from the lantern. In the case the lantern is moved away from the wisp or the wisp is forced out of the 40 ft distance the wisp is compelled to use its action to dash back to the 40 ft area.
You can command the Will-o'-Wisp telepathically (no action required) while hold the lantern. You can close the lantern as an action only if you have first commanded the Will-o'-Wisp to retract into it or if the Will-o'-Wisp is dead
If the Will-o'-Wisp killed, the lantern loses its magical containment property until it spends at least 24 hours inside an graveyard. When the lantern is recharged, a new Will-o'-Wisp forms inside it.
The lantern has AC 18, 50 hit points, vulnerability to bludgeoning damage, and immunity to poison and psychic damage. Reducing the lantern to 0 hit points destroys it and the wisp contained within it.
