A weapon formed from the ever-shifting mass of a demon (or specified otherwise)'s very essence, forged into a weapon using their willpower. Vergil's is a 'gift' from his late father, and takes the shape of an abnormally light katana which is capable of rending space itself. Reflavors the wielder's weapon-based spells into variations using summoned swords which use d8 as the damage dice instead of whatever was suggested prior. Will also change various spells into sword-based, force-damage alternatives. (Spells that are affected by this may be decided by you and the DM)
Blade-Swarm: Once per short rest, the wielder can conjure forth four summoned swords which encircle a target of the user's choice, constantly attacking them with 4d8 slashing damage at the start of their turn until they're destroyed using an attack.
Gate-Render: If any sort magical gate or portal is opened near the user, they may use their reaction (or action) to unsheathe Yamato and seal it away. Doing so, however, will afflict them with three stacks of exhaustion. If they use this feature again without removing all three Yamato-induced exhaustion stacks prior, it will still succeed, but will kill them in the process. Users killed this way can only be revived through the use of Resurrection, True Resurrection, or Wish.
Counts as a magical weapon only for the purposes of overcoming resistance to nonmagical attacks, and cannot be enchanted through any means. (Loopholes can be achieved through spells which target melee attacks themselves, but the sword itself is off-limits.)
If the weapon leaves its owner's hand for whatever reason, it is automatically dispelled. It can be called back, however, with a bonus action.(As well as being summoned normally, if it hasn't been already.)
Can be used as a spellcasting focus for those with proficiency in Martial weapons, as the weapon takes up both hands.
Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
Notes: Replace Damage Type: Force, Ignore Weapon Property: Heavy, Weapon Property: Light, Weapon Property: Finesse, Bonus: Dexterity Score, being with some sort of demonic blood running through their veins., Damage, Heavy, Two-Handed, Graze
