This marvelous spyglass is designed to be able to be mounted to a firearm or crossbow. Objects viewed through a spyglass are magnified to between twice and four times their size, which can be adjusted as a bonus action by whomsoever holds it or the weapon it is attached to. While attached to a weapon, it causes attacks made at long range with that weapon to not impose disadvantage. Further, it highlights magical objects and creatures under magical effects that are viewed through it, giving a brighter and more distinct highlight the stronger the magic is. This allows the viewer to see the outline of invisible creatures, as well as creatures those who are being affected by an illusion which alters or displaces their appearance, preventing the viewer from suffering disadvantage on ranged weapon attacks made with the weapon this scope is attached to against such creatures.

Treat the viewing of magical objects and creatures through this lense as an effect of the detect magic spell for the sake of determining what the magic can be detected through, except that its range is equal to the visual range of the one using the scope.
