Wondrous Item, uncommon
This rainbow anodized metal token, roughly the shape and size of a coin, has writing on it: Interpreted as "Thank you." by any creature capable of reading a language. A creature that accepts this token as a gift feels as if the giver has done them a great favor. A favor that they are inclined to repay. A DC 10 Intelligence (Arcana) reveals the nature of the token.

Posted Aug 20, 2023Originally, this was just a jokey spin on the phrase: "A token of my gratitude", but I realized that someone giving you an item, that can gain favor from anyone, actually IS a great favor in and of itself. I made it so the token HAS to be accepted, and is easily identifiable such that it essentially works as a charm effect of sorts, without removing agency from whom ever may receive it (Mostly concerned about removing player agency).
I probably just like the idea of this item more than I should.
