Weapon (greataxe), very rare (requires attunement by a (Must appeal to the winter wolf souls that lie within.))

Said to be imbued with the essence of three winter wolves, this axe was borne from and made for slaughter. Ruthlessly tearing through its foes, it feeds on the death it brings, and its cry for blood and death sends chills through all who hear it.

+2 greataxe, 1d12+2 slashing +1d4 cold, heavy, two-handed.

-(1/day) Howl of Winter: As an Action, you may release the rageful howls of the souls trapped within as a haunting battlecry/howl, freezing the air around you. 
All creatures within a 15Ft radius must succeed on a constitution save DC 17. On a fail, they suffer 4d10 cold damage and they become Frozen in a pillar of ice for one minute, at the end of each of their turns a frozen target can make another constitution saving throw, on a success ending the effect. On a success, they take half damage, and are not Frozen.
Frozen: A frozen creature is frozen solid in a pillar of ice, this includes whatever they are wearing or wielding, its weight increases by a factor of ten, and it ceases aging. Attack rolls against the creature have advantage. The creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. The creature had resistance to damage from bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, but is weak to fire damage. Attacking a frozen creature ends the frozen effect, and deals an additional 2d8 cold damage. The creature is immune to poison and disease, although a poison or disease already in its system is suspended, not neutralized.

Proficiency with a Greataxe allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.
