While using this as your spellbook, once per long rest you can cast a ritual spell without spending the time it would normally take to cast it (ex. "spend 10 minutes casting this ritual spell" you can just cast it instantly instead.) . Additionally, you can cast a level one spell without spending a spellslot once per short rest.
