As an action while wearing these wraps, you may expend a hit die and regain ki points equal to the number rolled. You may not go above your maximum ki points, and you may use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per day.

Thurkear, the chief of the Laic Tribe before the fall of Omu, crafted these wraps from the hide of a rival chief, Vermys. As the legend goes, Vermys had bound a small force of elementals to his will with the help of a powerful lich. He took his elementals and killed or subjugated every other tribe until he was defeated. After crafting the wraps as a trophy, Thurkear realized that his old adversary's hide still had remnants of elemental energy. No where near what the villain had possessed, but enough for a dedicated warrior to tap into the element and utilize them in combat.

The wraps are a treasured artifact of the Laic tribe and only given to the tribe's strongest warrior.
