The Voidgem, having undergone a transformation from the Shadowgem, now appears even more mysterious and alluring. Its polished obsidian surface remains as dark and reflective as before, but subtle changes are evident to those who examine it closely:
Dark Essence: The swirling, living darkness within the gem's core has become more pronounced, appearing like a miniature, contained void. It pulses with an otherworldly energy that seems to draw one's gaze deeper into its depths.
Intricate Runic Patterns: The intricate dwarven and giant runic inscriptions etched around the gem's base have transformed as well. They now appear to be in constant motion, shifting and rearranging themselves in an ever-changing pattern. This movement hints at the gem's newfound sentience and dynamic nature.
- Darkvision Enhancement: The Shadowgem's primary function is to grant darkvision to the user. However, this darkvision is not limited to the standard 60 feet. Instead, it extends to 120 feet, allowing the bearer to see even the faintest details in non-magical darkness.
- Voidheart's Embrace: The bearer gains resistance to necrotic damage while attuned to the Voidheart Gem.
- Eclisped Fury - Voided:
-
Activated Strike: The bearer of the Shadowgem can activate the "Eclipsed Fury" ability outside of a critical hit. The gem has enough power to do this three times a day, recharging at midnight. They can infuse a single melee, ranged, or spell attack with the gem's power, adding an additional [roll]3d8[/roll] necrotic damage.
-
Critical Enhancement: The bearer now crits on a 19, and the "Eclipsed Fury" ability becomes even more potent. In addition to the extra damage from a critical hit, the gem's power amplifies the damage, adding [roll]4d8[/roll] of necrotic damage plus the wielder's current level.
-
- Void Fury's Price: While the "Eclipsed Fury" ability becomes active, it comes at a much greater cost. Each time the bearer deals additional necrotic damage through this ability, they also suffer a portion of the total damage. The bearer's max HP is reduced equal to 50% of the additional necrotic damage dealt, rounded down.
- Siphoning Aura: The Voidheart Gem now absorbs 25% of the damage it inflicts on the bearer, converting it into temporary hit points for the bearer. These temporary hit points last for 1 hour and do not stack. Any excess temporary hit points gained beyond the bearer's maximum hit points are lost.
- Eclipse the stars: The Voidgem continues to crave for more . It can absorb the damage dealt through the "Eclipsed Fury" ability, growing stronger with each absorbed hit. Once it reaches a certain threshold of absorbed damage, it transforms once again, unlocking new abilities and becoming one with the bearer.
Notes: Resistance: Necrotic, Combat, Cursed, Sentient
