Weapon (greatsword), artifact (requires attunement by a Attunement requires spritual connection to the Y'vallah and is only allowed if this item is given as a gift, those who steal it may not attune)

Y'vallah's Morphology is the monument to the thought-creation of a people who have waited to be born unto the world for thousands of years, if not before the formation of the Conscience and Material God-heads. One of the five Primordial Artifacts, this item predates creation and is older than even the world's oldest Aspect. Its power is rivaled only by its impossibility. A paradox in form and origin, this is an item granted by Astrality, the god of madness and the world beyond the Moon, in celebration of the first theoretical figments of the Y'valleh. Housed within the body of their Warden and First, this item is a symbol of their utmost trust and thanks when gifted.

Unlike its sibling species, the Y'valleh were created with the conflicting ideas of Territory and Generosity. They, by their very nature, aggressively protect what is theirs without restraint or worry of morality. Yet, they are also the most generous hosts and have since their thought-inception been divinely pre-disposed to give all they can to those who ask and to give freely what is theirs to give. Jealously guarded yet easily given, the one who receives Y'vallah's Morphology will be one given a wondrous gift and will be protected as they would their promised land.

This item, no matter its form, grants a +3 to attack rolls using it. It, as well, counts as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance, though will not appear magical by divination.

Biological Transfiguration

While attuned to this item, the wielder may choose two damage types at the end of every long rest and gain resistance to those damage types until the end of the next long rest. Additionally, the user may maximize the rolls of a number of hit dice every long rest a number of times equal to their proficiency per day.

Spells.

Enlarge/Reduce, Haste, and Slow are able to be cast by Y'vallah's Morphology once each per day. The creature casting these spells using Yvallah's Morphology may elect for the item to carry concentration or may hold concentration themselves. Through this method, two spells can be concentrated at once, one in the wielder and one in the item.

If this item is within its humanoid form, it gains an extended spell list, which can be found here [Tooltip Not Found]

Shape Change.

The Morphology adopts many forms. Any form of simple or martial weapon can be adopted. Aside from this, the sword can assume a form similar to their master. While in this form of mimicry, The Morphology rolls its own initiative, takes its own turns, but will carry out the command's his master issues in this form.

While in this form, it counts as a humanoid creature of True Neutral alignment with a strength score of 14, dexterity score of 18, and constitution score of 16. It has an hp pool equal to half its master's total. It cannot be healed through conventional means and if it would perish in this form reverts to its previous form as a weapon. Once it has died this way, it may only re-adopt its creature form after a 7-day period has passed.

The creature uses the following statsheet while in humanoid form: [Tooltip Not Found]

Sentience.

The weapon communicates telepathically with its wielder and can speak, read, and understand Common, Abyssal, Sylvan, Infernal, and Deep Speech. The Morphology  has an intelligence of 20 but is limited to knowledge of the Ethereal. Its wisdom score is 18 and its charisma score a flat 10. It has a True Neutral alignment and does not experience life according to mortal standards of perspective.

Personality.

The Morphology, as it is called by the Y'vallah, is the weapon incarnate of the first unborn body, the chosen artifact of their leader and something that christened their creation in thought. As such, it holds an inherent connection to those otherworldly people and wishes to better them, though it is only a member by accretion and acceptance by the Y'vallah rather than as biological descendant. However, should it be gifted to another user, its mental, physical, and alignment based characteristics will adapt to the inheritor. Its baseline personality is as a servile, obedient, determined, and creative individual with an aspiration to serve great masters, to assist in the greatness of others. Its loyalty is first to its master and second to its adoptive people.

Destroying Yvallah's Morphology

The destruction of this item requires a method currently unknown, though the Y'vallah and the item itself both inherently know that it is destructible, but not by mortal means. The exact methods escape them and no efforts have been made to discover this aspect of it, as its discovery would most likely result in its destruction, which neither it nor its adoptive people wish.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
