When focusing on the artifact, you lose track of your surroundings completely. A voice comes to you and asks what you are doing. Must make a 15 DC Cha/Persuasion check to befriend the voice. Once befriended, you can convince it to show you certain memories contained within.

The memories contained within shape the personality of the voice. 

When concentrating on the artifact, you can imbue a memory of yours into the artifact, taking 2x the length of the memory. After imbuing it, you can choose to forget the memory from your own mind.
