They who wield this magical rod shall fight with all the might of Zariel. Holding the rod above your head and saying the command phrase (learned when attuning to the rod), transforms the user into an 8 ft. tall female Solar in shining mithril armor with golden feathered wings. You may also transform as a reaction to taking damage, assuming your Solar form has hit points remaining, and the damage and any effects are then applied to your new form instead
Your Solar form retains its hit points between uses and is fully restored after a long rest. If you are reduced to 0 hit points while in your Solar form, you immediately revert back to your original form and any excess damage carries over to your normal form.
If your health is under half, whenever you take damage you must succeed a DC 10 + half the damage taken Constitution saving throw or revert to your previous form. You may dismiss the transformation as a free action at any time.
Proficiency with a Quarterstaff allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Topple. If you hit a creature with this weapon, you can force the creature to make a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 plus the ability modifier used to make the attack roll and your Proficiency Bonus). On a failed save, the creature has the Prone condition.
Notes: Buff, Versatile, Topple
