Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement by a Either Blue Dragonborn or Drakeswarden Ranger)

This cyan and royal blue bow has blue dragon scales along its limbs and its wielder feels a tingle as the lighting generated from this bow circulates through them. You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

When you hit with a ranged attack roll using this magic bow, the target takes an extra 1d6 lightning damage. If you load no ammunition in the weapon, it produces its own, automatically creating one piece of magic ammunition when you make a ranged attack with it. The ammunition created by the bow vanishes the instant after it hits or misses a target.

Yzetlas' Curse. When you attack a creature with this weapon and roll a 20 on the attack roll, the creature undergoes Yzetlas’ Breath. However, when you attack a creature with this weapon and roll a 1 on the attack roll, you undergo Yzetlas’ Breath.

Yzetlas’ Torment. When you take the Attack action on your turn, you can forgo one of your attacks to target a creature within 60 ft. you roll with emphasis. For a chosen roll that is of a value of 10 or higher, the target undergoes Yzetlas’ breath. However, if the roll is of a value of 9 or lower, you undergo Yzetlas’ breath.

Yzetlas’ Breath. The creature must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw or the creature takes 3d6 lighting damage and is blinded for one round. If the saving throw fails by 5 or more, the creature is also stunned for the duration. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t blinded or stunned.

Crafted from the bones, hide, and teeth of  the legendary ancient blue dragon, Yzetlas. A remnant of the Yzetlas’ spirit still fights for control over the bearer and refuses to attune to a creature that lacks any remnant of a blue dragon. Any creature that attempts to touch Yzetlas, will immediately undergoes Yzetlas' Breath.

Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.


This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
