Weapon (mace), very rare (requires attunement)

Appearing as a simple mace with a large featureless sphere for a head, a mace forged as a Wrecking Ball favors simple, blunt, and direct methods of dealing with obstacles.  You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

Upon striking any inanimate man-made fortification or structure with this mace, and only when striking those objects, more properties of this magic weapon come into effect:

  • If the fortification or structure has hit points, this mace deals triple damage.  Otherwise, fortifications and structures simply count as being weaker, at your DM's discretion.
  • The wielder counts as one size larger and having a strength attribute of 20.  If the wielder's strength was already above 20, use that value instead.
  • The wielder has advantage on related strength checks.
  • The wielder gets fatigued from the strikes at half the rate they normally would.

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage, Utility, Combat, Sap
