This leather-bound tome is covered with intricate carvings of various animals and monsters. The pages are made of parchment and filled with sketches, notes, and diagrams of different beasts. Some of the pages are stained with blood, ink, or other substances. The tome has a clasp that can be locked with a key, which is hidden inside a hollow tooth of a dragon skull that serves as the tome’s cover. The tome radiates a powerful magic that can be felt by anyone who touches it. The tome is said to have been created by a legendary druid who traveled across the planes and studied the secrets of life. The tome contains the knowledge of how to summon any beast that the druid encountered or imagined, but also carries a risk of unleashing unpredictable creatures if used improperly. The tome is a coveted artifact that many adventurers, scholars, and villains seek to obtain.
This ancient tome contains the secrets of summoning various beasts from across the planes. As an action, you can use the tome to summon one beast of your choice that you know of or believe to exist. The beast appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of you and is friendly to you and your allies. It acts on your initiative and obeys your verbal commands. The beast remains for 1 hour, until it drops to 0 hit points, or until you use the tome again.
If you use the tome while the sun is not shining on you and the tome, you summon a random beast instead, and it does not follow your commands. Roll a d100 and consult the table below to determine what beast appears.

Notes: Not advised to use without restricting it. It was created for a very specific purpose, and needed to be very powerful, so to use it in your game I advise to add some kind of restriction like charges. Also, the Spinosaurus had a homebrew statblock. You need to have one, or replace the Spinosaurus with something else. Tags, Summoning, Utility, Exploration
